JC Strategy was formed in March 2008 to provide public policy advice to Private Equity at this time of increased public scrutiny.

The firm provides advice across the spectrum of issues of relevance to Private Equity firms, from taxation to regulatory issues, and offers political "due diligence" on deals.

The firm’s major client is Apax Partners, one of the largest UK based Private Equity houses. Other clients have included Exponent Private Equity

JC Strategy was founded by James Connal, who has worked in Private Equity and at the highest levels of international politics.
